HISTORY LECTURE

HISTORY LECTURE: John Redmond – What If? is the intriguing title of the next lecture of the Thomond Historical Society to be given by Dermot Meleady, author of a recent, highly praised, two-volume study of the life and career of this important and controversial figure in Irish History. The lecture will consider his influence on the history of early-twentieth-century Ireland and speculate on what might have happened if the 1916 Rising had not occurred.
Monday February 22 at 8.00pm Mary Immaculate College, SCR, Limerick – admission free and all welcome.
