LIMERICK CHORAL FESTIVAL SOCIETY
LIMERICK CHORAL FESTIVAL SOCIETY is thrilled that the world-famous Palestrina Choir are coming to Limerick for the very first time to perform at the opening concert of this year’s choral festival ( February 26-28). The concert takes place on Friday, February 26 in St. Josephs Church, O Connell Ave., at 7:30pm. Tickets can be purchased online at www.litmt.ie, from the Abbey Bookshop or at the door priced €15/€12.

BALLYBROWN GAA JUVENILE CLUB REGISTRATION NIGHT will be held on Friday February 19 from 7.30 – 9.00pm in the GAA Club. Membership Fee for 2016 are as follows. €60 Family of 4(2Adults/2 Children), €20 – 1st Child, €10 – 2nd Child. €50 Ballybrown GAA Adult Membership.

BALLYBROWN CAMOGIE REGISTRATION NIGHT 2016 : Friday February 19 from 7.30-9 pm in the Clubhouse. Membership fees as follows: €30 for one child U18, €50 for two U18, €60 for three or more U18 (from same family). €50 for adult players (over 18) €5 Non Playing Social Member. You must be a member to vote in AGM. All new U18 players must bring copy of their birth certificate. New Members are always welcome. Any queries contact Pauline 087-7758603

LIMERICK GAA SENIOR SCOR will be held on Sunday February 21 at 7.00pm in Askeaton Community Centre. Events taking place are Set & Figure Dancing, Solo Singing, Ballad Group, Instrumental Music, Novelty Group, Recitation. CRIB DONATIONS : A total of €1265 was collected from Ballybrown and Patrickswell Churches. The money has been given to Sr. Bride Counihan, a Little Sister of the Assumption, to help with her work in a remote area of Brazil. “Thank you” to all who donated so generously.

TRÓCAIRE BOXES are available from the exits of both Ballybrown and Patrickswell Churches. Our parish made a very generous contribution last year, we thank you again for that and hope for your continuing support towards Trócaire’s work, particularly during this Lenten season. www.trocaire.org.

45 DRIVE : The weekly 45 card drive in aid of the Ballybrown Community Resource Centre continues each Thursday night at 8.45pm sharp. The winners for Thursday February 4 were as follows; 1st prize €100 went to Eugene Quinn and Gerry Moran with eleven games while Mike Mann with Teresa Moloney and Michael Stokes with Micheal O’Keeffe shared 2nd prize of €60 with eight games each. The table prize went to Ann O’Brien and Marie Cregan. Raffle winners were : 1/ €30, Paddy McCarthy, 2/ €20, John O’Brien, 3/ €20, Willie Gorman, 4/ €10, Evelyn O’Brien, 5/ €10, Ann O’Brien 6/ €10, Gerry Moran.
There will be a 45 drive in aid of the Senior Citizens Party on Sunday February 21 at 3pm in the Resource Centre and your support would be greatly appreciated.

BALLYBROWN SENIOR CHOIR : Please note, rehearsals now taking place in Ballybrown Church every Tuesday evening at 8pm in preparation for St. Patrick’s Day and Easter. New choir members always welcome. If you would like to join, please come along on Tuesday evenings.
