The 45 drive is now a regular fixture on the local calendar and a big thank you to Joe Purcell, Peter O ‘Sullivan and Willie Ryan for organising the smooth running of it since its inception three years ago. There is a rumour going around that Joe Purcell is retiring but I feel that come September he will be back again to keep order and sure it wouldn’t be the same without him. Thanks also goes to Maura Byrnes and Helen Kennedy who looked after the catering over the past season. Thanks to everyone who helped out in any way and ensure the smooth running of the cards.

The cards is one of the biggest fund raising events in the Resource Centre and it also offers a social night out to many people in our parish during the winter months. So here’s hoping to see you all back again on Thursday September 22 and as always please bring a friend and tell your neighbours about the cards. Have a great Summer and thanks for your support to all our patrons.
